Think Happy , Be Happy!

Hello friends, Welcome once again here with a watercolor tag and some Dahlias for you all. Flowers have been the most inspiring element in all of my projects and I continue to enjoy making them with Susan’s Garden dies. Let’s have a look at how to create this tag.

  1. Die cut watercolor paper using the Tags & More die in whatever length you choose.
  2. Softly tint the bottom section of the tag with Crushed Olive Distress Ink. Also ink the edges of the tag.
  3. Mist lightly with water and add more color with watercolor sprays.
  4. Heat set between steps.
  5. DIe cut pieces for Garden Notes Dahlias 2 from White Soft Finish Cardstock.
  6. Shade and color with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink and Sunflower Archival Ink.
  7. Die cut Dahlia leaves from green cardstock and fern from white. Add color to the fern and to the edges of the leaves with Crushed Olive Distress Ink.
  8. Stamp sentiment toward the top right of the tag.
  9. Shape leaves and petals. Assemble the bouquet and adhere to the tag as shown in the photos.
  10. Add a ribbon at the top of the tag.
Thats all from my side today, let me know how you like it. Will be back soon with some more creativity.

Until then happy crafting!

Debuting Classic Wedding Collection + Classic Wedding Tag

Its your Day and its the Wedding Day!

Today at Heartfelt we are debuting the Classic Wedding Collection. This day is full of memories, special moments, vows, wanting to look the best  and many more. From sweet and sentimental to funny and sad this day is full of emotions. There is excitement in the air and the hearts of many who have gathered to celebrate the special couple. Its the beginning of the journey which holds the hands of the two special person.

Such is the Classic Wedding Collection. It has the perfect sentiments, the grand decorative medallion and the wedding bells to complete the wedding bouquet for you. And not to forget the coordinated Paper collection which will add the extra touch to your wedding projects and gifts.

To debut the collection I have a Wedding Tag for all on a shabby Chic design.

Instructions

Cut a chipboard piece to 3.5" x 6 ". Distress the sides and add white gesso. Cut a paper from the wedding collection paper stack at 1/8th inch less than the chipboard tag. Distress the edge , adhere white gesso to the sides. Cut 2 strips of paper from the paper stack to create the second layer.
For the wedding Bell. Stamp the wedding bell using black archival ink on a water color paper. Use the picked raspberry and ripe persimonn to color the bells. Use the coordinating die and die cut the wedding bell.Make some tiny filler flowers using the classic rose stamp and die.
Die cut the decorative medallion 5-6 pieces from white card stock. Adhere them all together to create your own chipboard. Use a paper from the collection and die cut one piece from the medallion die and adhere on the top layer. For the composition on the chipboard base adhere all the ready pattern paper. Lay a piece of mesh and then adhere the medallion die and wedding bell on a dimensional foam to raise the effect.Cut a sentiment piece from paper collection and add it at the below. I have also used a cabochon to create an embellishment.

Flowers could be the best gift for any such beautiful moments.

I used "Anemone ", Cherry Blossom , Ivy Vine from Susan's Garden.

Its a mixed media , resist embossed , water color background and it was real fun creating the background.

Embellished it with filler Flowers, twine, mesh , pearls and bling!

Tag It!

Finally its time for the last post for the month and what an amazing challenge to end with.

Like I said before I love playing " Tag You're It Challenge" and so I am back with another tag for the challenge.

The inspiration is as below.

Some of the few elements that has inspired me which allowed me to make my tag are:

- White Embossed Image
- Double Tag
- Pattern Paper

So here's my take on it.

I used Heartfelt Creation flower die for the main flower. The Small yellow flowers are from Cheery Lynn embellishment die set. I used the Double die pattern using a DCWV pattern paper to stack the tag and Definitely the bg is white heat embossed

Hope you like it!
See you soon with some more creation!
XOXO

Hugs!

Hello Friends! Its mid month already and I hope you all have a fabulous crafty time so far.

Today's project is special as its a new launched product for peek-a-boo and I take the pride to be amongst few to try my hands on it. Before I share my project below few points for the stencils.

  • Yes, it is made in India that too with the same quality and output.
  • The size is 8.5" - 9" so you can use it for your Mixed Media Layout also.
  • The launch designs are amazing and versatile.
  • Also it has a punched hole for easy storage.

And here's what I made using these cuties.

Intentionally I did not use any heavy embellishments or stamping as I wanted the Stencil to steal the show.

Do let me know how you liked it and also below is where you can buy the stencils.
