Hello Friends, welcome to another project of mine where I have used the newly released peonies in a very different way. Yes its not shaped flowers or glitters but simple coloring. Actually when I received this collection in my hand I was tempted to start coloring seeing the beautiful images of the peonies.

Instructions

The final card measures 5.5” x 4.2” and in created with some water coloring and layering to raise the colored peonies. The card is pretty simple however the coloring of the peonies will take some attention and time as the sketch is very accurate and details. The more the shades the better will be the folds of the flower petals. First stamp the small and large peonies on a white card stock using black archival ink. First apply a very light coat of the Plum archival ink on the edges and the center of the petals. Later using zig brushes and Raspberry pink start shading every petal. This way complete all the flowers and leaves.To create the background stamp some peonies images at random corners using Shadow Grey archival Ink. Cut and score a grey card stock at 4.25”x5.5” to form the card base. The stamped white card stock measure 1/8” less than the card base. Using a foam adhesive adhere the top layer to the card base. Once the card panel is ready layer the colored peonies and then on top attach the sentiment. All the layers are raised using chipboard pieces.

Welcome friends to another fun filled day with creative magic from heartfelt creations. You must have seen the Singing in the rain collection with some garden fairies and witty lovely images. Today I have another such creation using the same collection.

Instructions

This card measures 6”x4.5” and has a lace window. It shows a Garden fairy wishing us a wonderful day. To create this card score and cut a white card stock at 6”x4.5” which will form the card base. Take a dark blue pattern paper from the paper collection and cut it at 1/8” less than the card base. Choose another lighter shade of blue pattern paper and cut it as further 1/8” less than the second layer. Adhere all these layers together which will form the card base on which the lace window is build.To create the lace window die cut a white card stock using the decorative medallion die from the classic Wedding collection. Choose a pattern paper which will depict a garden scene from the paper collection and die cut an oval window using the eyelet Oval and basics large Die.Die cut another decorative oval piece to embrace the lace window.Once all die cut adhere the lace window and the oval window pattern paper and then adhere to the card base using a foam tape.For the garden fairy, stamp the image using black archival ink onto a white card stock and then color it using Zig brushes. Stamp and die cut few of the smallest carnation flower using plum and black archival ink. Once die cut color them using the zig brushes. Shaped them using the ball tool and then pierce the center to finish them with a stamen. These small flowers will embellish the fairy and the branches. In order to fill the branches and bush stamp and die cut a piece of classic petunia bouquet die and color them using the zig brushes. Also stamp and die cut a leafy branch from Young at heart collection using the Simply Classic stamp and die set.In order to assemble the card, place the fairy on a dimensional adhesive and then place all the small flowers, twigs and branches. For the sentiment stamp the word “ Have a wonderful Day” from the Hearfelt love collection using black archival ink onto a write card stock. Once stamped die cut using the smallest oval die. Punch a whole on both side of the die cut piece and run some cotton thread. Place the sentiment at the bottom. Finish the card with some frosting white powder and some crystal clear on the sky.

Water Color Camellia!

Friends I am back with another card for heartfelt creations using the Camellia Carnations flowers.This card has lot of stencils in the background, colors dripping and then the vibrant camellias.

Instructions

The final card measures 6” x 4.5”. Start by scoring and cutting a Black card stock that measures 4.5”x12”, score at 6” and create the card base. Cut a 5.8”x4.3” white card stock and distress the sides using black soot distress ink. For the front card base take a water color paper which measures 5.5” x 4.1”.Take any stencil of your choice and create a stencil background using some texture paste. Heat set and sprinkle some water to wet the surface. Later on an acrylic block splash some black soot distress ink to splash the stenciled background. Once you receive the desired look heat set the surface.Stamp and die cut some large and small Carnation by stamping using Vermillion Archival Ink. Color the flowers using sunflower and shape the petals using 3D basic flower shaping molds. Shade the leaves using the crushed olive distress ink. Stamp and die cut some filler leaves using the black soot and keep it white.To arrange the bouquet, use some cheese cloth, pearl stamens and leaves assemble all the shaped flowers and leaves. Tuck in the die cut holiday filigree at the bottom of the flower bouquet. Sprinkle some black soot on the the white surface.To finish the card tuck in the Congratulations Sentiments.

I love You + Happy Valentine

Hello Friends, yes we are gearing up to celebrate Valentine's day pretty soon. Its time we pick up our scissors and some flowers to create some beautiful handmade cards and gifts for our loved ones. 

This week I created a card using the Heartfelt Love collection. Its a very pretty collection , amazingly designed so that you can celebrate your loved ones perfectly.

Instructions

The final card measures 5.5” x 4.25” and its created in a clean and simple format with intricate die cutting. Take a white card stock and cut and score it at 5.5”x4.25” to form the card base. Cut a pattern paper from the Heartfelt love paper collection at 1/8” less than the card base and adhere to the card. Take the second largest eyelet heart die and die cut the front card panel. Using a 5”x4”white card stock die cut using the designer square from the Gift of love box die.Adhere the intricate die cut piece at the heart window which will form the card front panel. Stamp several branches from the banner of love sentiment using black archival ink from a water color paper. Color the bouquet using zig brushes and a water color brush and then die cut the pieces. Stamp and die cut several petals of the dogwood flower from white card stock and plum archival ink. Shade them using plum, sunflower archival ink. Mist them and shape them. Glue them together and finish the flower by some center prills.Once the die cut pieces are ready and the flowers, arrange the bouquet around one side of the die cut heart window. Tuck in some small flowers and end the card with a stamped “ I love you “ sentiment for the perfect valentine day card.

Instructions

The final card measures 7”x4.5”.Start by taking a white card stock and fold it to form the card base. Cut 2 pattern paper with 1/8” less and adhere to the card base.  Stamp and die cut a piece of the fairy image using black archival ink from the stamp and color it using the zig color brushes. Stamp and die cut several pieces of filler leaves and color all using zig brushes.On the card base adhere the fairy image and adhere it using a foam glue. On the pattern paper stamp the rain drops using a blue distress ink. Once the fairy is placed at the center , arrange all the filler leaves at the side.Arrange a twig with the bird at the top. Stamp the sentiment Thinking of you using pink archival ink and place it at the top. Fussy cut a flag shape pattern paper on which stamp the sentiment.

Congratulations Card – Love in a Mist

Hello Friends, Piyanki here with  a new project using some brand new Susan’s Garden dies. The collection is fun , creative and as always immensely intricate to give your flowers the perfect shape and natural look. For today’s post I have chosen the Garden Notes –  “Love in a Mist” (Nigella Damascena) die set. First the name fascinated me and then when I researched a little about the flower, it blooms in the color blue. For a long time I have not created any flower in blue so went for it at once.

Love in a Mist is a common name for “Nigella”. The ferny , fennel like foliage makes it look all the more interesting. With the die set you have the perfect dies for the foliage which will add the natural look once you assemble the flowers. I chose to create my flowers blue for my card, however you can find these flowers in a variety of different colors.

Step 1 : Cut a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8.5″ x 5.5″, score along the long side at 4.25″ to create a  4.25″ x 5.5″ top folding card which will be the base of the card.

Step 2 : Cut another piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock at 4″ x 5.3″ to form the second layer. Use the Stitched Oval die to die cut a section of the card stock.

Step 3 : Cut a piece of Watercolor Paper to 3″ x 5.3″ add color to this panel using  Distress Oxide of your choice.( Iced Pruce , Broken China used on this card) and some Distress Ink ( Squeezed Lemonade , Curved Pumpkin).

Step 4: Keep adding layers of distress ink, splash some water and then heat dry it in between every layer. Once you form the desired shade adhere this layer to the second layer.

Step 5:  To add more depth to the card base die cut several pieces of the smallest dies from Garden Notes Dahlia 2 and adhered it all over the card stock.

Step 6: Using the Love in a Mist die set, die cut enough petals and leaves to create three flowers from White Soft Finish Cardstock.  Color using Zig Markers.

Step 7 : Assemble all the flowers , ferns around the upper portion of the stitched oval.

Step 8: To finish the card add a die cut the sentiment “Congratulations”  3-4 times from a White Soft Finish Cardstock, stack the sentiments together to give a raised effect. Adhere to the lower portion of the oval opening.

Be the Sunshine

Hello friends, welcoming you to my post. I appreciate you stopping by. Today I have a brand new card using Susan's Anemone flowers. I have made many projects with this flower and somehow I dont get enough.

Its a beautiful flower and love love working on it. Now for any of my card/projects I love to create a background/backdrop on which I lay or assemble my bouquet of flowers.

Every time I try and create something new whether its tone-on-tone , watercolor , mixed media , texture background or something new.

This time I used some scraps of solid card stock to create the backdrop. I had seen a video long back from Jennifer and always wanted to try this technique.

This month I am hooked to this background and I am in the spree to make more and more of this background.

Instructions

1. Cut and score a white card base to 5.5" x 4.25"
2.Cut several thin strips from coordinating color card stock.
3. Die cut, color and shape several Anemone along with the leaves.
4. Fill the centers and keep it ready to assemble.
5. Adhere all the strips onto the card base.
6.Snip off the extra ends from both sides of the card.
7. Assemble the flowers and leaves.
8. Finish the card with a quote from the stamp set.

Cards with Mudra!

Hello Friends, Piyanki here. Welcome to another brand new post. At Mudra we have a very fun interesting challenges launched this month.

Yes Reverse Stamping or you call it Mirror stamping.Its a very interesting and versatile technique. It allows you to  use your stamps in a very efficient way.

Today I have 3 cards for your. I have not used reverse stamping though however you can refer to my previous post here.

Card 1

A very simple card adorned with the Persian elements set. To make the card do random stamping with black archival ink on a neenah white Card stock. Using Zig color all the background or the negative space. Later with a sharpie bold the outline throughout the card. Did not add any sentiments or embellishments considering the background to be bold. Place the colored panel on a double layer card stock for the base.

Card 2

For the second card I used different shades of Hero Art Green Ink and then repeat stamping using the Fern and Petal set. Later using a Sharpie I bordered the panel and also did multiple dots on the negative space. Cut a 1/2" strip of the front panel. To add the sentiment die cut some bold alphas using the same coordination color.

Card 3

For this one, it was a super fun working with the Giraffe mini set. Its a small one however can do wonders on your project. The way I created this card using some technique I was inspired by Jennifer. I die cut several pieces of concentric circles from black and white and adhered to the 2 corners of the card. Later die cut a rectangle frame and adhered on the top. Colored the giraffe using zig and fussy cut and places it on the top.

Celebrate every Victory

Hello friends, here today welcoming you to a brand new post. This has been one of my favourite and enjoy it thoroughly whenever I go back to the dies to create some projects. The colors are so vibrant and can be created with so many variations.

Placing my flower bouquets on a background is something I work for. This time instead of using inks, paints, glitters or beads I used some dies to create the background. Here's how I created the project:

Instructions
Step 1: Cut and score a white card stock to measure 5.5" x 4.25"
Step 2: Cut a piece of colored card stock at 2" less than the base. Die cut using the postage stamp rectangle die.
Step 3: Die Cut another piece of white card stock at 4" less than the card base using the postage stamp rectangle die.
Step 4: Die cut some pieces of entwined circle. Cut them into random pieces and adhere them to the card base. This will complete the card base.
Step 5: Die cut several pieces of the hydrangea from white card stock. Shape and color them.
Step 6: Assemble the shaped flowers, leaves and stem on the finished card base.
Step 7: Finish it with a sentiment.

Instructions: The final card measures 5.8" x 5.8". Take a white card stock and score it at 5.8 to form the card base.Cut a corordinating paper 1/8" less than the card base and distress the edges.Further to create the 3rd layer cut and distress 12 pieces to create the brick wall as a backdrop. Stamp and die cut multiple pieces of holly berry leaves and color them using zig clean brushes. Later using some glossy accents and frosting powder glitter all the leaves and berries. Die cut 2 pieces of oval with 1/8th inch difference from the paper collection.
Distress all the edges and using foam glue dots adhere them on the card panel. Later assemble all the leaves and berries tucked in on the card panel. Finish the card with the sentiment from the paper collection.

Christmas Blessing Gift Set

Welcome friends, its another Happy Wednesday at Heartfelt Creation. We all are having fun creating Christmas Cards, decoration , gifts and so much, how about you.

Today I made a lovely set of a card and Chocolate Box . I kept it coordinating so it will be easier and fun also to gift it together.

Instructions

The Card measures 5.8" x 5.8" and the Chocolate holder measures 6.5" x 8".

Card : Take a white card stock and score it as 5.8 to create a square card base. Use a coordinating paper from the collection and cut it at 2" less and adhere it to the card base.Take a card panel from the paper collection, trim it at further 2 inch less and then adhere to the card base. For the embellishment die cut the decorative lace die from the die set. Die cut some window filler flowers and heat set with frosting powder. To finish the card assemble all the die cut pieces along with some hand shaped flowers from  the sun kissed fleur. 

Chocolate Box: Take a white CS which measures 8" x 6.5". On the longer side score it 3.5",4" from both the ends.On the shorter side score it at 7" , 7.5".Fold at all the score lines , cut coordinating paper from the paper collection with 2" less than the panel.Adhere all cut paper and then assemble similar embellishment as like the card on the chocolate holder base.

Debuting Winter's Eve + Tri-Fold Window Card

Welcome once again for a bright , eventful Wednesday! Yes its the second Wednesday and here at Heartfelt we are debuting the Winter's Eve Collection.

How fun is it that we get to celebrate Christmas , winter and snow twice a year. This collection will remind us to sit beside our window and experience the snow fall , the sledge that just passes by. We also get to witness the little wild flowers that finds its way in mid of the heavy snow. Lets welcome this collection and here's what I have for you.

Instructions

The final card measures 7.5" x 4". Take a white card stock that measures 11" x 4". Score at 3" and 3.5" to create the folds. Cut 3 pieces of co coordinating card stock from the paper collection. For the side panel cut it at 4" x 7.5" and for the center cut it as 3" x 7.5".For the second layer cut 3 pieces of the coordinating paper at 1/8" less. Adhere all the co coordinating paper onto the white cardstock. For the window frame, using white card stock die cut all the pieces and place them on the center piece.

For the basket, use the co coordinating die from the HCD1-7150 Window Box Elements Die and the co coordinating paper.Also on the side panels die cut the decorative edge and create pockets to hold the sentiments or piece of journalling. Using archival black ink stamp and die cut many pieces from the HCPC -3795 Window Box Fillers Stamp Set. Using Pine needles, Crushed Olive , Vibrant Fuschia and Sunflower AI, color all the filler leaves and flowers. Once all colored place and assemble them in the basket.

To close the tri fold card create a belly band that measures 2.5" x 11" and score it at 3" and 3.5". Use a co ordinating paper to embellish the band along with die cut pieces from the window frame set for the edge. Decorate the band using some handshaped dogwood flowers.
