This is SPECIALLY for you Ma...

This special day we (This blog will be from me and my sister) somehow wants to just tell her and keep saying how much she means to us.

So I thought to make a layout with her and dad’s pic and keep enough space for journaling to write as much as we can.

Adding a twist, I would convert this layout by framing it rather than binding it to an album to make something really special.
This is something I tried it for the first time and hope she likes it.

Its a 12X12 size layout and I bought this paper long time back, never got a chance to use it so used this to give a vintage look as the Photo is from her wedding Album!

The golden leaves are my favs in this layout. I kept it golden rather than green to give it a royal look.

The right side I kept it for my message to  Ma...

Mother's Day Special

Finally this time I made something for my mother. For all of you she is a very simple lady and hence that triggers me to dedicate this simple card for her.

I was inspired by the Lulupu challenge for the sketch, hence I used a border punch.  Also keeping my mother in mind I did not embellish the card so much to avoid looking crowded and keeping it simple as she is.

So this is for you Ma, Love You!

Entering in the Lulupu Challenge with this Card!

MDF Tissue Box...

Hello Everyone

After a weeks time, I am back. Got tied up with some other priorities...

Anyways since the time I came across Craftslane and thanks to Ujjwal whose blog introduced me to Craftslane, I could not hold myself to try my hands at one of their products.

Though I got many of their products, however I started with a Tissue box.

I have used handmade crochet flowers and patterned paper to decorate the box. Kept it simple and did not embellish much to make it user friendly :).

This is the first time I have used the decoupage technique on a wooden surface and I am quite happy on the way it has come out :).

I am working some more projects from the Craftslane products, wood be back soon

See you at the next blog!!!!
