Double Shadow Box Display!

Hello friends to another fun filled Wednesday where we are playing our creative minds with Lush Lilac. This flower marks the beginning of  spring and it also brings in a fresh new change. Today I have a beautiful project featuring the Lush Lilac flowers used on a desk show stopper or a display.

Instruction

Love to decorate your consoles or your creative space and here we have a display using 2 shadow box. To create this display take a white chipboard measuring 6.5”x6.5” and then cover the base with a decorative pattern paper from the Lush lilac collection. Distress the edge and this becomes the base of the shadow box. Take one shadow which measures 6”x6” and cut the base flap and adhere it on top of another shadow box. This will increase the depth of the shadow box and also make space inside to decorate with fillers and flowers. On the inside layer stick a clear sheet which will create a transparent opening. On the inside frame stick a die cut piece of the decorative border from the Heartfelt love collection from a pattern paper. On the panel inside keep stick flat lush lilac flowers centered with some branches and frills. Stamp all the elements using plum archival ink on a white card stock and then color them using zig brushes. Once all colored places them on the inside panel. Once the inside panel is ready stick the top layer. Die cut 2 piece of the decorative border using some pattern paper and adhere it on both the sides. Embellish and assemble the flowers and leaves on top of the shadow box and one bouquet on one of the side leaving the sides empty for the inside to peep out.Fussy cut a sentiment from the paper collection and back it up with a solid pattern paper. Place that on a assembled branches and flowers on one of the corners. To end the card place a stand at the back of the chipboard and also stick metal corners on all 4 sides of the display.

Happy Valentine!

Welcome friends to a beautiful romantic Wednesday where we are just a week before celebrating the week of love.Yes you are right we are nearing the Valentine week and this is the time we celebrate our loved ones. Today's card is one of the way we can cherish our special friendship and this card is very special to me as first time I ever created such a front panel.

Instructions

The final card measures 6.5” x 4” and it’s lacy and graceful for the perfect valentine. Adorned with handmade flowers and drops of glitter let’s celebrate this valentine day with poise and grace. To create this card cut a white card stock to measure the final card base at 6.5” x 4”. Strip off the front panel keeping 1” from the top. Take another white card stock that measures 6.5” x 3” and die cut the filigree square three times in a row keeping a thin separation in between and also keeping a 1/8” border on both side. Cut another strip of white card stock that measures 6” x1” for the bottom. Align the filigree piece to the top and then adhere the solid bottom piece at the bottom keeping in mind to keep the entire front panel to 4.5”. Cut strips of pattern paper to adhere to the top and bottom white panel. This will finish the card front panel. For the lace heart, die cut a eyelet heart shape from a pattern paper. Choose a size smaller and die cut another piece from butter paper. Stamp the sentiment Happy Valentine using embossing ink and then heat set with white embossing power. Adhere both the heart piece with a foam adhesive. Adhere the heart sentiment at one end of the card front panel. For the flowers die cut several piece of large and small petunia from white card stock using black archival ink. Using sunflower and pink archival ink shade all the flower petals. Later to shape the flowers slightly wet all the flower petals and the leaves and then shape it. Later heat dry it. To finish the flowers sprinkle some crystal clear. For the filler leaves here I have used a retired leaves from the sunrise collection. Stamp it with black archival ink and then color it using zig brushes. Once all colored and dried assemble the leaves, flowers and frills around the heart one the lace center border of the card front card. The flower centers are made using wire pollens.
