Water Color

Hello Everyone

Today I have a very simple card but used some new techniques and new products.

With the theme " Water Color" for Lulupu Challenge this was my first try and it turned out to be a nice and simple project.

I used a Hero Arts stamp set for the flower and a Spellbinder Intricate die for the background. Its a Tall and skinny card this time.

The water coloring is using distress ink.

This shows the top view of the box, the tutorial is from split coaster however decoration has been altered as per the mood board.

Have used a net ribbon to tie as a closure.

And here comes my favorite heartfelt creation flowers.

and thats what it opens to. I have kept some tissue ribbons and gold leaves which will serve perfect with the gifts when presenting. The sides have been decorated with pearls.

I must say it was fun working for this moodboard and I did take time to think so that I can get the best for a blog which was my first win as a honour and also top 3.

This is how I have used the moodboard.

Material : Used wooden sentiments on the top.Lace and Ribbon to tie the box.
Embellishments : Used flowers and flowers to decorate the box.

Love you Sweets

Hello Everyone,

So one of my friend is learning baking these days and she is trying her hands on various types of cakes and chocolates. We together look for various recipes.

When Lulupu came up with this monthly Challenge, a recipe mini album is what is struck me. Since she is learning deserts , so I wanted to make it look more on that line and also matching the challenge theme.

Something about the project.

Papers are from craftslane matching the theme of deserts, sweets, cakes and chocolates whatever it takes.

Its a 8x5 mini album made out of medium weight chipboard. Whole paper color theme is pink and red as per the challenge.

Left side has a waterfall which she can put the pictures of the made dishes and right side of the album has a small pocket to hold the recipe cards.

The Recipe cards made from white CS , which are stamped and colored using distress ink.

Cardabilities #116 Sketch

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card for Cardabilties.

The background is made from a white embossed sheets with the pretty lil hearts. I coloured it with red and pink distress ink.

The hearts are cut with a cookie cutter and some are fussy cut :) and I love the way it has come out as I did not have any cutting dies for the hearts.

The flowers are all handmade from heartfelt creation daisy dies and the sentiment from Lawn Fawn stamp set.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card where I tried lot of new things. Its made for the  CSCC #10 - MAKE ME HAPPY.

The red flower is made from slicing a circle punch cut out. It was fun I must say. And then for the first time I tried a gold paper and guess what I was overwhelmed.

The swirls is die cut from a gold paper. For the word Happy, since Valentine day is around, so made a Valentine day card.

Now coming to the center piece, the pattern is made from a Just rite stamp and coffee ink.
